Be the Expert Women Trust

You're a health or fitness professional and you want to be the in-demand expert women trust to help them work their body in ways that can help prevent and heal common core challenges like incontinence, prolapse and diastasis recti.

Right now, you know...

  • Diastasis Recti exists - but do you know how to tell if someone has it (or what to do about it if they do)? You should.

  • A bit about the pelvic floor, but maybe it is only 'do your Kegels!' (which is not always the right answer, unfortunately.)

  • That women are likely to develop incontinence as they age but do you know why or that while common, it isn't normal?

  • Many women struggle with back pain and a chronic tummy bulge after babies but are unsure what to do.

  • Women want to feel strong but are avoiding certain movements and you would like to know why and what to do to help.

And you want...

  • A better understanding of what Diastasis Recti and pelvic floor dysfunction really are.

  • Knowledge about what movement practices help guide women to better core health and fitness so they can live better and with confidence at any life stage.

  • An awareness of how to evaluate the safety of an exercise and if it is appropriate for your client.

  • Knowledge on who needs core retraining and how to assess and progress your clients regardless of their stage of life.

  • A bigger library of exercises that are diastasis and pelvic floor friendly ('s not always about the exercise but about the execution - we teach you all that in the course).

Get the skills you need to set yourself apart from the rest and train your female clients so they can have core confidence for life!

Become a Core Confidence Specialist!

  • If you train women, this course is a must! It is essential learning in our opinion.

  • Over 80% of women become pregnant and give birth at some point in their life. Even if you don't train pregnant women or new moms, you need to know how pregnancy, birth and life affect the female core and pelvic floor.

  • If you DO train women who become or may become pregnant, we highly recommend you take our more comprehensive course, the Pre/Postnatal Fitness Specialist Course - it is everything in the Core confidence Specialist Course PLUS the additional content on pregnancy, training for birth and postpartum recovery.

  • Incontinence affects 1 in 3 women and most don't know that it is highly treatable without drugs or surgery!

  • Pelvic organ prolapse affects over 50% of women but most don't know they have it and may be choosing movement that increases the chances of the prolapse worsening. You can be the one to help them manage, improve and even eliminate their prolapse symptoms!

  • We promote collaboration and work closely with birth professionals, pelvic floor physiotherapists and women's health professionals. We teach you how to build a women's wellness collaborative that truly sets your clients up for success. When you can help a client ditch the pads you will have a client for life!

This course is approved for 4 CECs with canfitpro, 10 CECs with AFAA and 1 CEU with NASM.

You'll gain a solid understanding of...

  • Anatomy AND the function of the true inner core. It's SO much more than the abs and low back!

  • What Diastasis Recti is, how to assess for it holistically ( is more than just the gap) and what exercises will help heal the abdominal wall as a whole.

  • The many functions of the pelvic floor - most are surprised to learn all that it does and why it is key to so many aspects of our lives!

  • How Pregnancy Birth and Life affect the Core. While this is not a pre/postnatal cert, if you train women, the majority have been or will be pregnant so you need to know this!

  • How exercise can both help and hinder things like incontinence, organ prolapse, back paid and diastasis recti. Move your clients better and more effectively towards their goals.

  • "Is this right for me?"

It's a great fit for anyone who works with women - fitness professionals, physiotherapists, yoga instructors, pilates instructors, chiropractors, massage therapists - you will all gain valuable knowledge from this course. (and ps...for the male professionals...unless you work strictly with men, then this course is for you too!) (pps...the information in this course, while female centric, really applies to anyone. We ALL have pelvic floors and inner core units that benefit from intentional training).

  • "What if I don't work with pregnant women or new moms?"

You'll find this course helpful if you're a fitness or health professional who works with women at any and all stages of life, even if they have never been, or never will be pregnant.

  • "Is it worth the investment?"

First of all, the price is inclusive of tax so no surprises when you check out :-) And we get it - there are so many courses out there and it's tough to know which ones are worthwhile and which ones to budget for. Our course was created by a pelvic floor physiotherapist and 2 movement professionals - that's 3 instructors for the price of 1! Originally, we were one of the only courses that covered this information and now we have some competition. We pride ourselves on continuing to evolve with the research and ensure the course is always up to date. Our price is actually less expensive than some of our competitors :-) The learning you'll take away from our courses will blow your mind and truly elevate your expertise. Totally worth the investment! (in our humble opinion)

  • Is this course all online?

Yes, this is the online version of the course - all content and exams are done online.

  • "Do you offer live courses?"

The Core Confidence Specialist course is offered a few times a year as a live intensive. The live courses are taught by the founders or our master trainers in various cities across North America. The website will always have the current dates.

  • How long will it take to complete the course?

The course is approximately 16 hours of content.

  • Is there a deadline to complete the course?

I am an online course junkie and won't always finish courses if they are not that great. This course however is perfect for me. Both the content and the container are great! Content is to the point, updated, well explained. Course is well structured in short units that keep you motivated to keep learning and that make it easy to review something (instead of going over a 2 hour lecture to relisten to a cue). In some videos the audio is a little bit low, but I am sure that is an easy fix. All in all, highly recommendable!

This is by far the best training I have taken!! It has a lot of information specific to working with clients as a Personal Trainer and I am feeling a newfound confidence for assessments and progressions moving forward from the initial retraining phase. The philosophies of Bellies Inc. mesh with my own when it comes to fitness both before and after baby, and I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to take this course. When my first born was 8 months old (after some mistakes along the way in trying to regain my strength), I was shocked how uninformed I was about the effects of childbirth on my body. As a Yoga, Fitness Instructor, and Personal Trainer I wanted to share this knowledge with my participants and clients so they didn’t feel as lost as I was in my postpartum body. I have taken many trainings over the last year and a little bit to increase my knowledge and and understanding of Pelvic Floor Dysfunction, Prenatal and Postnatal Bodies. I found out about Bellies Inc. through The Connected Yoga Teacher podcast.
